Our kindergarten teacher was "Queen for the Day"

We made her a Hawaiian Queen and presented her

a haku {hawaiian headpiece} and shell leis.  The kids

also were to dress in her favorite color: PURPLE.  Look

carefully at Jayden's shirt {we had no purple so I improvised}

I love this time of year when these vines, that

grow all over our fence in the backyard, BLOOM!  

They only last about a month, so I've got to enjoy them while I can.

I'm not sure if sitting in a fire engine or watching a

For preschool today, the boys were

invited to a Power Ranger Party..perfect

excuse to dig out Jayden's old costume.

I guess my April Fool's joke backfired..looks who's

laughing now.  I told you, I can never pull off a good

joke, here's the proof. {it took 2 times to be fully 

convinced} New house, New baby...I've always said I

like to be busy, but COME ON!

Day 110

The word is out!!  We're moving {only 4.1 miles away}, 

for those of you who hadn't heard through the very

small grapevine.  The "For Rent" sign made

it official today..{anyone need to rent a 4 Bdr.

3 bath house?  I know the perfect place.}

Day 109

Ryder and I went browsing through model homes

today looking for inspiration {notice he tried to open

anything that contained food and the melty m&m's that were on his hands, are now

on the white bedspreads of some of these homes..we're like animals, we leave our marks}

Day 108

Went with Ryder and his preschool to the Wild Animal

Park in San Diego.  Out of all the "Wild Animals", {rhinos,

giraffe, gazelle, water buffalos, etc.} I choose the gorillas, which

can be seen at any zoo, but I just think they are sooo cool and

fascinating.

what would cub scouts be without a little GUITAR HERO?

For our mutual activity, we visited our "Adopt-a-Grandma"!

This spunky woman has had quite a life and shared

some of her experiences and testimony with our Mia Maids

and Laurel.  What incredible lessons can be learned by

just talking to the elderly..they have so much wisdom!

Day 105

a dear, dear friend brought us these cinnamon rolls Sunday

night..ummm, it's Monday and there's 2 left?? are we pigs

or what?  they were way too good to just let them sit

in the box.

Day 104

a very boring day for pictures...these are the little

nuisances {aphids} that are taking residence on my

roses.  they will die tomorrow!!

Did we really graduate BYU-H 10 Years ago???

We can't possibly be that old.

We had a great night visiting, with friends we graduated with

and haven't seen in a long time, at DUKE'S in 

Huntington Beach. (It's where we ate dinner the night

of graduation, but in Waikiki) Some of my greatest memories are

of my college days in Hawaii.

(It's been nearly a month and we still haven't received our pediatric G.I. referral..

My best friend Kristen, whom I don't see

by for a visit on her way down to San Diego!!

my 2 WORST days of the year are in april & oct.

{the boys regular dental cleanings} it usually takes

about 1/2 hour to calm down jayden, then i'm forced to

vise him down..it's not pleasant for anyone, but we have

the most incredibly patient and wonderful pediatric 

dentist.  after jayden comes ryder, by this point, I'm 

losing it.  thankfully jim came with me this time, and

the tag teaming worked so much better. 3 boys, no cavities!
