Day 152

My Father-in-Law was HEAVEN SENT..He can fix

anything and boy did I put him to the test!!  

installed 6 ceiling fans, light fixtures, installed new door

hardware, fixed sprinkler heads, smoke detectors, shower doors,

installed washer & dryer, the list goes on...I can't THANK he and 

mom geddie enough for all their help!!!!

The first and last time I've ever been able to park my car

in our old garage!! {we hand the keys over @ 11:00 a.m. on Saturday to our renters}

the movers come!! (it's actually so sad to be saying good-bye to

our first little home!)

Since it was the sabbath, I thought I should at least

take a picture of a church (seeing as I wasn't in one).  This one was right on the

hotel grounds..a beautiful setting for a wedding!

Took the booze cruise over to MOLOKINI for snorkeling!

It was a blast!  Saw turtles, eels, nemo's {red clown fish}, yellow

tangs, humahumanukunukuapua'a {hawaii's state fish}, rainbow

fish, puffer fish, and so much more!!  Can't wait to get my under

water camera film developed!!

Day 143

Our husbands were "book" widows today!  Started

"Twilight" all 500 pages.  2 days later, I only have

30 more pages to go.

Went on a "3 hour tour" kayaking and snorkeling tour with

some of the group.  Jim would rather go for a run.  what????

{this is megan..she is an awesome girl!!  she's around 28ish, single, return missionary, was the event

planner for this trip, and is looking for a great guy, anybody have any suggestions?}

Our 2nd night, we went to a comedian/magic show in

LAHINA.. it was a riot.  Jim and I were one of 4 couples

that were pretty much the "lambs in the slaughter"..(Jim got 

the brunt of it, but at least we had front row seats!) {if anyone has seen it

he was Opie or Gommer, I can't remember}

30 hours with NO HOT WATER,

$509 = price of a new "California Acceptable" water heater,

$188.19 = price of the permit to install water heater,

$78.66 = price of supplies needed to install water heater,

$269.00 = installation fee,

HOT WATER = PRICELESS!!!!!

Just when things were going so smoothly...our water heater

bursts!! {at least we caught it before we left for Maui, and 

before the renters moved in} [this is me trying to look for the positives]

The boys were excited because they got to go swimming for shower time!!

this will probably be the only time I see our new garage both

empty and clean..so I decided to wash the floors and make it shine!!

As a fundraiser for girls camp, we dipped, probably close to

700 strawberries, in yummy chocolate and wrapped them up.

That's what I've done for Mother's Day weekend so far, that and a 

soccer game!

went scrapbooking with the girls last night (hadn't done that in

months) and feasted upon the best food ever:  TACO TIJUANA's

I finished!!  {and 2 days early} 

This was also my last project to finish for receiving my

YOUNG WOMEN's Medallion for Personal Progress.  Yay!

UGGS in may??? it was way too cold today to say I

live in so. calif.  {10 more days till ugg-less Maui.}

today my teenage boyfriend got his braces off!!  if only

i had a BEFORE shot to show what a dramatic change this is!!

next and final step:  ZOOM whitening!!

Day 126

Ryder started swimming lessons today...we stayed after

so he could play around.  I was talking to someone when

all of a sudden I see Ryder gasping for breath in the big pool.

So I jumped in, in all my clothes to get him.  I think he was

feeling a little too confident after only 1 lesson.  Let's just

hope he'll get back in the water for Lesson #2!

Day 125

Signing our lives away...it's border line ridiculous how many

times we had to sign our names today.  It's looking like we'll

get the keys sometime this week!!

These are the incredible girls I get to work with!!  I'm 

sooooo going to miss them when we move, {but I'm not

thinking about that yet!}

Took our YW to San Clemente beach to pass off some certifications

for girls camp.  The weather was as perfect as the company!!
