Day 90

These poor tulips have been droopy from day 1.  They took on a design all their own, but I still love them!  What's not to love about a tulip?

Day 89 {Happiest Day EVER!!}

To some, this may seem repulsive!  But to anyone who knows us and has been with us through our struggle to potty train Ryder (who is a stubborn 4 1/2), knows that this is the sign of VICTORY!  I spared the disgust and masked it with a heart because my heart is full knowing that, not only did Ryder poop a solid mass, but he did it in the toilet!  It was a great day in the Geddie house! Day 89 will never be forgotten, nor will the excitement of such a milestone!

FYI:  Ryder was so proud of himself and so excited that he said he wished he could do more! Words to melt a mother's heart! He got to pick out anything he wanted at the store!  Sky was the limit in my mind!  This was a great day!

Day 88

I just love the colors of this bowl that I bought in Playa Del Carmen and thought it would be perfect for a fruit salad!  (Had the missionaries over for dinner {but I made breakfast}).

Day 86

Beautiful, but windy spring day at the beach!  While Jim is up at Deer Valley, Utah freezing his behind off, I was enjoying a perfect day at the beach with the boys & friends!

Day 85 {Happy Birthday Laura}

I was the cool mom today and took Skyler and his friends to the hills behind our house to some bike jumps! I love that they all want to spend the entire day outdoors, it reminds me when I was a kid..I hated coming inside!

Day 84

Took my Bear scouts on a field trip to the Temecula Sheriff's station. They were bummed that we couldn't go in the jail. Why anyone would want to go inside is beyond me.  (i never knew there was even a jail in temecula..technically it's murrieta!)

Day 83

Nothing says welcome home from a lovely vacation like a trip to the tax man!!  Actually, this year the government was quite kind to us!  I guess we were compensated for stimulating the economy last year. And NO..I will not donate a dollar to the any political party!!

Day 82

Went to the Wild Animal Park with the kids and some friends! It's not a trip without the standard brass rhino picture.  Good times!

Day 81

It was Jim's turn to partake of the twilight phenomenon.

Grandma and the boys made this little sign to welcome us back! Thanks again mom geddie for staying with the boys!  They had a great time!

Day 79

It was my turn!! With only an hour till we checked out and after watching all the kids at the resort do the bungee trampoline all week, I told Jim that I was going to do it! I first had to ask if adults were allowed.  After funny looks and questioning stares, they said I guess so, if you want to!  I showed those little people how it was really done!  No screaming.  No "get me down".  Just pure adolescent fun!  Sorry the video is sideways..does anyone know how to turn it horizontal?

Day 78

Our last full day!!  After experiencing the best massage of my life from Alberto, we went into Playa Del Carmen to pick up the obligatory souvenirs.  Then our last supper!  Can't get enough of these "virgin" pina colada's!  Why does this have to end? (my waistline can tell you why!!)

Day 77

Like I told Jim, just because your dream has already come true doesn't mean you can't do it again!  This time was even better!  I got to ride 2 dolphins and I got to do the foot push~meaning they pushed my entire body up into the air with their noses and they swam me around the lagoon! Basically it was like dolphin skiing..amazing!! (the video is of my dorsal ride..again, jim did a great job seeing as he was on the other end and technically not allowed to take photos..this is how they make a bulk of their money!)

Day 76

Went to Tulum/Maya Ruins today as well as Xel-Ha..the most amazing natural water park. Tulum had the most amazing beaches I've ever seen!  The water was so clear, and the sand, pure white and as soft as flour + the water was warm! (it was a little startling, to say the least, to come across these beasts' the first time around, then we got use to seeing them all over the place).

Day 75

Just loving doing nothing but overly indulging in the "all-inclusive" aspect of our vacation! (eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow I won't be able to zip my pants!)

Day 74

now tell me, how do you pass up a photo opp. with a monkey? sure this picture cost $12, but this monkey was the cutest thing ever!! (jim was my secret paparazzi..you weren't suppose to take any pictures, but he got one, blurry as it is! he was so far away!)

Day 73

On our way to a very romantic and relaxing week! (how often to you see a pink heart made of clouds in the sky?) If this is not a sign, I don't know what is!! After a long day of traveling, we finally made it to our resort and with pina colada's in hand, laid in the lounge chairs on the beach watching an amazing sunset.

Day 72

Bags packed (even if it's 10:45 p.m. and we were planning on leaving here by 7),   Grandma briefed,  Cancun, baby, here we come!!  See you all in a week!

Day 71

New sandals, freshly pedicured toes...I'm ready to go!

Day 70

Another $40.00 down the crapper!! Pull-ups for Jayden {night} and diapers for Ryder!  I'm so done with my 4 year old in diapers..anyone know of a potty training boarding school?  I'll pay anything at this point!

Day 69

Our ward had Enrichment tonight.  We did a little skit about the 12 Hats of Womanhood!  I wore the hat of the detective!  Other hats:  maid, gardener, teacher, helmet, chauffeur, clown/party, showercap, nurse, athlete, cook, and queen. Great food, great lesson, great friends, great dessert!

Day 68

Went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park with Laura {my sister} and Charlie {my nephew}.  A fun break in our regular routine!  

Day 67 {Happy Birthday Skyler!}

Our firstborn turned 10 today!!  It's hard to believe how quickly the time has gone by!  Only 9 more years till he leaves on his mission!

Day 66

The after effects of the sleepover!!

Day 65

Skyler's turning 10 on Sunday, and because his birthday was on what he called, "the most boring day of the week", we let him have a sleepover with 7 friends!  These crazy, but good boys decide to enlist themselves in the POLAR BEAR club!  I think they spent more time in the pool then in the spa!  The air temp:  46.   The pool, not heated and probably a frigid high 50's!  I was freezing just being outside taking the picture! BURRRRRR!!!!

Day 64

Took my friend Kristi to lunch at Campini's for her birthday!  You just can't go wrong with an Italian Deli..Buon Appetito 

Day 63

I feel like I've been handing out money right and left {babysitters, girl scout cookies, school donations, school crafts, etc}..so for a change, I thought I'd have the magic machine give me some (even if it's mine to begin with it felt good to physically take it!)

Day 62

fingers are crossed!  this is my 3rd dyson in less than a year!  luckily costco is so gracious with their exchange policy!

Day 61

Someone backed into my car Friday night at TaeKwonDo and had the audacity not to even stop. What is wrong with people? Where's the integrity? I even watched her do it.  Luckily, so did a few other cars, one of which wrote down the license plate. There was some scuffing and a little scrap so I decided to try and have the car wash buff it out before tracking the person down.  It worked like a charm and they even did it for free! So now, I'll just drop it and let the person live with the guilt of knowing she hit and run!

Day 60

DYANA and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!!  Woke up with a miserable cold, body aches, sore throat and chills.  I didn't move from my bed all day!
