Day 31

Skyler had State Championships this weekend in San Juan Capistrano (luckily we avoided the Lancaster venue).  Although the outcome of the weekend was not so good, Skyler played some great soccer! This was his first season on Club and he loved it!

Day 30

Jim was out of town for the weekend, so this is what I did with my Friday night!  (burned 558 calories in 50 minutes..then went and ate the rest of a candy bar!)

Day 29

Day 28

Anyone who knows me, knows that this {picking my split ends} is ONE of my most annoying habits!  (skyler grabbed the camera and took this)

Day 27

Chantel has got to be the cutest pregnant person ever!!  She is all baby and soon she will join my club:  THE 3 BOYS CLUB!  {membership has it's privileges!}

Day 26

Today it was Skyler's turn for shoes/cleats!  We wondered why he was running funny lately..come to find out, his cleats were 2 sizes too small! My almost 10 year old is becoming more and more picky so this was not a fun endeavor!  (He was mad that I vetoed the $199 cleats..honestly, unless you're a pro, who needs $200 cleats!) 

Day 25

I've never seen a kid love salad more than Jayden! 

Day 24

Went to B.J.'s Pizza tonight with the Brays, Lundquists, and the Gharrings!  The service was horrendous so we got this enormous pazookie on the house (as well as our appetizers)!  As you can see, we didn't waste a bit! 

Day 23

Skyler had a night game tonight (and my camera doesn't have a very strong flash) so my picture was horrible, but I had to have a photo for the day, so I played around with it and made it a little abstract.  (Skyler's #16) 

Day 22

Pinewood Derby time again!  Every year I'm amazed at the involvement that goes into these cars {mainly by the fathers}!  Skyler won all his races but because of time, they didn't switch lanes for the finals and our luck, he got the slowest lane so he took 2nd for the night!  {sidenote} When it was all over, for our own satisfaction, we took the top three cars and raced them down the same lane and looked at times! {Why they didn't do that in the first place is beyond me} Skyler's was the fastest time!  So even though he didn't take the official championship, he was ultimately the CHAMP and all the dad's knew it! 

Day 21

After watching Jayden at Tae Kwon Do, I suddenly had a craving for Chinese Food {the kind I don't have to make}!

Day 20

Jayden lost his FIRST tooth this morning!  After having it dangling for several days, he finally got the nerve to just pull it out!  

Day 19

What better way to spend a day off school than to go to the beach..in January?  Yes..it's been in the 80's for 9 straight days and the beach was GORGEOUS! Life is good! It just reaffirms why we pay to live in California!

Day 18

How Ryder entertains himself on Sundays!  Building a fortress with all his toys.  It goes right along his need for uniformity.

As bear leader..I got to go on the Mormon Battalion hike with all the cub scouts in our stake! Jealous? Go HERE to see what I did that night!
