Girl's Night Out..actually, this was a good-bye (or as Theresa put it, merely a see you later) for Jenniffer, my friend, who is moving to RENO, nevada.  Temecula will just not be the same without her here!!  Jenn, you will truly be missed!!

Day 287

My mom had Ryder Sunday night so we could go to the Galaxy game, then, when she brought him home on Monday, I got a couple of sewing hours out of her!!  Thanks mom for whipping my fabric into a nice window topper in record speed.  I think it helps tone down the walls. (i think a nice roman shade rather than these blinds would help too..that's later!)

Day 286

Went to the L.A. Galaxy Soccer game tonight..Skyler's team was invited to walk across the field in the Parade of Champions (for winning a tournament).  The boys were thrilled and the game was great.  Galaxy won Colorado 3-2.  [sidenote:  Jayden was freezing, hence the funny face!]

This is what we woke up to Saturday morning!  V is for VICTORY!! That's 2 and counting...

Caught this day with only minutes too spare...very busy and chaotic week!

I caught this monkey using an ice cream scoop to scoop out peanut butter.  Who knows just how many scoops he had!

Jim came home with another random Halloween decoration.  The thing is, he doesn't have to be at home all day with 3 boys who love to push the button and make it sing for hours upon hours..it's about to find itself a new home, in my garbage can! {By the way, went to a church conference talking about  Prop. 8 tonight!  If anyone is reading this and doesn't know what it's about, please see the widget and remember to VOTE!!}  (preferably YES on 8)

This is what happens when you leave two 4 year olds alone for 5 minutes!!  (i guess it really lives up to it's name of "playroom").

WELCOME HOME MOM!! (to Jim's credit, the house was immaculate and the laundry was at least done!)

One of my phone calls home this weekend, Jim informed me that he had seen a mouse run across the floor.  He set up traps on Saturday and caught one.  So Sunday night, when I got home, the boys thought it would be "HILLARIOUS" to take this giant rat from the Halloween box and put it in the fridge to scare me.  Mission Accomplished!

Day 278

Last minute picture for the day..this is the cute store we spent the bulk of our weekend at.  I got 36 pages done!  Now I'm only 4 months behind!

Day 277

This was the only group shot of the entire weekend..a few factors make it a not-so-good shot: 1.)the fact that we balanced the camera on a stack of towels 2.)We just ate plates of fried goodness 3.) It's 2:00 a.m. Besides the unflattering picture, the spa just topped off a great day & night with friends.

Found this recipe on a fellow scrapbookers' blog..looked good so I made it for dinner.  It tasted even better.  A perfect side-dish.  Go HERE for the recipe. (FYI: adding a little salt made it much better!)
