Day 120

It's Jim's turn!  He didn't get the flu however, his back just went out and he has had incredible leg pain.  Just when we thought we'd turned the corner with his back he makes 1 wrong move (lifting a couch looking for a remote control probably not the smartest move) and we're back to square one!

Day 119

The concrete was poured today!  This truck was here bright and early at 6:45 a.m.!  Sorry neighbors.

Supplies came in the mail today!  We are ready for a party!

Day 117

After 5 days of sickness, I finally broke down and went to the Dr's. Final Verdict:  bronchitis on top of the flu!  Immune system, where are you?

Day 115

Despite feeling miserable, Jim & I still hosted our dinner group.  We ended up with: veggy pizza, thai chicken crunch pizza, chicken/spinach alfredo w/artichoke hearts pizza, margarita pizza, and ham and pineapple.  Sadly, I was so sick, I didn't eat a single thing, but everyone said it was great! FYI:  I have an amazing husband who cleaned our house from top to bottom - he even steam cleaned the tile floors and did all the laundry (and put it away)!  What a man!

Day 114

Here we go again!  I'm starting to wonder when am I NOT sick anymore!!  I was in bed all day with the flu, except for this brief drive-thru moment (in my p.j.'s-nice hair).  The boys had been so good keeping themselves busy (and not bothering me while I slept), it was Friday, and Jim was gone all night at the temple so I mustered up the strength and took them to Mc Donalds!

Day 113

As the newest Webelo, Skyler was inducted to lead the flag ceremony at the Arrow of Light ceremony.  (he was so nervous!)

Day 112

Ryder and the terrible, horrible, not so good, very bad day!!  It's actually horrible for us all..just when I thought all his cavities were filled, the dentists informs me that they only did 1 quadrant! WHAT?? He has 6 more to be filled and will have to be put asleep for it because the laughing gas did nothing for him!  $800 later :{  (there goes the chaise lounge chair I wanted for the backyard!)

April Heat Wave!  While in the long drive-thru line @ In-n-Out, our temp. gauge jumped from 100-104!  I feel for our Utah friends who are buried in snow!! This is one of the reasons I love California! (jayden was home sick today so he got a special lunch!)

Day 109

We're doing dinner group as our ward activity this month.  I volunteered to host and decided to make it a pizza making party. This was the invite I delivered to our guests.  Probably not necessary, but I couldn't resist!

Day 108

Went to RCP {a rock store} to pick out our stone for the backyard. Needless to say, my indecisiveness was a problem.  Way too many to choose from and with the variations of each stone, you never know what you're going to get!  At this point, anything will look better than what was there!

Day 107

Took the boys bikes to the shop today!  Skyler needed a new chain, and Jayden, a new tire (on his 4 day old bike)!

Day 106

I strongly DISLIKE pokemon cards..1st, they are a waste of money. 2nd, I constantly find them on the floor, but the boys love them. my rule: {any card(s) i find on the floor go straight in the trash!}
