Day 7:
Day at Sea
We were so ready for our 2 days at sea! After spending 2 incredibly full days in Barcelona, running around seeing everything and then off to France, Florence, and Rome, we were ready to just lay at the pool and do nothing. This was the beauty of the cruise..we were being forced to take a rest day, which we needed. We sailed from Rome down to the very southern point of Italy. We sailed through the Strait of Messina. To our right was Sicily and to our left was the toe of the boot of Italy.
Sicily
Not sure what town this was in Italy, but it's somewhere in the toe of the boot.
We even passed a volcano with stem billowing out of it's top.
